Initially I was a bit frustrated with the metro drawings. The swaying of the metro and the movement of my hand did not create the beautiful drawings I imagined they would be. After some time though the drawing became more fluid and delicate. Adding some words or images I saw when the metro came to a halt also helped create an interesting image that mapped my way around underground Paris.
