One of the first exhibitions I wanted to see was the graphic arts collection. After trying for so long, I gave up but accidentally stumbled upon this one tucked away in a closed off room. The artist was Gabriel de Saint - Aubin. This exhibition showed many of his sketches and drawings. His work was very small but very detailed. The sketch above was approximately 1.5 in x .5in. I was amazed by the small scale and the sktechy but complete work. It has inspired me to create miniature sketches of my own.
